Day 78 of 100

The more we focus inward the more we make choices that are true for us.

The more our attention falls on what we'd love, the greater that love grows.

The more we focus on what makes us come alive and what brings us true joy; the greater and more fruitful our world becomes.

It's only when we focus on what other people think, or on what we "think" other people want that we lose ourselves and extinguish our own fire.

Day 76 & 77 of 100

You can rest when your body calls for it; or you can override it and keep "hustling" until you crash and burn.

You can take time out and appreciate every second; or you can sit there stressed, trying to solve a problem.

You can follow what you feel over what your mind says you "should" do; or you can not.

You have a choice in each moment to choose the thing that brings you closer inward and to being at peace within - or not.

It's your choice. What will you choose?

Day 75 Of 100

What I've come to truly-deeply realise is that if we're wishing something were another way and are unhappy with the way the current circumstances are, we're missing the lesson.

I think up until now I haven't truly realised and appreciated the opportunity that comes with each life challenge. I've asked to be my best (and yearn to) and then sometimes when life serves up what looks like a road block, I've failed to tap into creativity and love.

Day 74 of 100

Today's episode is a sharing that came about from teaching an acting class.

A short and succinct message that reminds us of the power of calm.

Thanks for listening.

Day 73 of 100

As my amazing friend Catie Payne said to me the other day, “Life’s too serious to take seriously.”

What a brilliant line.

Imagine if we all lightened up a little.
Imagine if what consumes us wasn’t taken so seriously.
What if we laughed more, played more and had more fun?

What kind of person would we all be? What kind of world would this be?

Day 72 of 100

We live in a world that tells us we can do whatever we love and that we just need to find our “purpose”, our “gift” or that “thing” that we’re supposed to do with this life.

The issue with this is, I think society has harped this up to be something it’s not.
It’s become about finding this BIG, special thing that will put us into the spotlight and make us a lot of money. We chase our purpose so we can find ease and peace and freedom.

Day 71 of 100

What do you do when life APPEARS to suck?
What do you do when you feel that you suck?

For the most part in these times of suckiness it’s simply that we are in our heads. We are creating problems that aren’t even there and we are running off imaginary scenarios that may or may not happen.

So how do we get out of it?

Well, I think there is merit in feeling all that comes up.
I also think there is great merit in shaking things up.
There’s no point in dwelling on it. That’s really painful.

"You don’t have to go to school to decide what you’re going to do for the rest of your life. Just go to school to do something you enjoy and something you’re going to immerse yourself in. Do something that you’re going to enjoy  learning how to learn. And that will help you make decisions later in life."

Day 70 of 100

“It’s just a game. You’ll have to relinquish it all in the end anyway.”

It’s all temporary.
It’s all transient.
All that you love. All that you dislike.
The smell of the ocean. The feeling of grass beneath your feet. Your favourite dessert. The way you like your steak. Your family. Your hot-shot career. Your start up.

Every single aspect of our lives we will at one point in time have to part ways with.

It’s somewhat bittersweet, isn’t it?

Day 69 of 100

Many say they want change.
Many say they want their body to look a particular way.
Many say they are unhappy with their current nutrition choices.
Many say they'll start tomorrow.
Many say they're unhappy.
Many people say many things and many don't follow through on the action they've said they'd take.

Why?
